ABIDJAN, CÔTE D’IVOIRE – Corus International and MANSA BANK took a significant step toward fostering a long-term, impactful partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. Together, they will combine their expertise to address critical challenges in Côte d’Ivoire’s education sector.

Their efforts will focus on maintaining and improving school infrastructure through classroom and latrine renovations and construction, establishing community school feeding programs for primary, lower middle, and middle schools, developing local food production corridors, and expanding workforce development centers.

Corus and MANSA BANK are launching this partnership with an annual commitment of $500,000 to $1,000,000 (approximately 560 million FCFA) in financial and technical support over the next decade. The partners are also actively seeking additional co-financiers who share their vision of creating a lasting impact on Côte d’Ivoire’s youth.

Highlighting the importance of this collaboration, Mahmoud Bah, Chief Operating Officer of Corus, remarked,

“Investment in Côte d’Ivoire’s education sector is so important to keep students in school, learn relevant skills, and become productive economic actors. Corus International is pleased to lend its expertise in education, agriculture, and livelihoods to generate results for Ivorian students and their communities. We are proud to partner with MANSA BANK, an Ivorian financial institution committed to supporting and enhancing Côte d’Ivoire’s culture and its people.”
