WASHINGTON, D.C., August 27, 2026 — Corus International is a global humanitarian and development organization responding to disasters and helping communities recover and build resilience. Through its Humanitarian Action team and partners, Corus provides emergency assistance and supports disaster response and recovery in the United States and around the world. 

Corus is accepting donations to support emergency relief efforts in Nepal. Contributions will help provide urgently needed assistance to people and families most affected by the flooding in Nepal, particularly those who have lost their homes, livelihoods or access to essential services. 

Disaster Response Expert Availability: Corus Chief Humanitarian Officer Tamara Demuria, is available for interviews about the humanitarian response to the flooding in Nepal, including emergency needs, disaster response and recovery, and the challenges facing communities affected by widespread damage and displacement. Tamara brings more than 20 years of experience leading complex humanitarian and development responses around the world, including large-scale disaster responses and efforts to help communities move from immediate lifesaving assistance toward recovery and resilience.
