Health care solutions in
fragile settings
IMA World Health
IMA World Health is a global health leader, delivering scalable, results-driven solutions in some of the world’s most underserved and operationally complex environments.
Founded by a coalition of Protestant and ecumenical partners, IMA was created to improve access to essential medicines and health services for vulnerable communities. That faith-based commitment to service and human dignity continues to shape the organization’s work today — grounding its focus on practical action, accountability and impact at scale.
Over time, IMA evolved from a medical supply and distribution network into a full-scale implementing organization delivering health programs directly in partnership with governments and local institutions.
Today, IMA works alongside ministries of health, multilateral institutions, corporations and development partners to design and execute programs that expand access to care and improve health outcomes. Core technical areas include maternal and child health, infectious disease prevention and response, immunization, nutrition, WASH, and global health security.
Operating across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and other high-need regions, IMA is built for execution in constrained environments. The organization combines technical health expertise with field-based delivery systems, supported by data, digital tools, and performance monitoring to improve efficiency, accountability, and results.
Programs are designed for scalability, alignment with national priorities, and integration into existing public health systems, ensuring that improvements are both measurable and durable.
IMA is a trusted partner for governments and global health funders seeking disciplined implementation, technical depth, and reliable outcomes in complex settings.
