One month has passed since a massive earthquake shook Turkey and Syria, resulting in the tragic loss of tens of thousands of lives and leaving over 1.5 million people without homes. Ambassador Daniel Speckhard, previously in charge of Iraq's reconstruction and presently leading the non-profit organization Corus International, is currently visiting the earthquake-affected regions in Turkey. He shared his perspectives with ABC Breakfast, shedding light on the ongoing endeavors aimed at rebuilding and recovering from this catastrophic event.
