Macek on VOA: Empowering Nigerian Farmers: LWR's Cocoa Productivity Project Unveiled

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) kicked off a new initiative in Abuja, Nigeria, last week with the objective of strengthening agricultural productivity in Nigeria's cocoa value chain. This project is made possible through support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food for Progress Program and is primarily focused on equipping Nigerian farmers with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve sustainable income growth by improving cocoa yields. Paul Macek, Vice President of Rural Economies and Agricultural Livelihood at LWR, recently discussed the project's goals and insights with Vincent Makori from VOA.
