Katerina Ntep
Senior Managing Director, Corus International
Katerina Ntep is a global executive leader with a record in strategic planning, partnership development, performance-based finance, and infrastructure advancement. She excels in steering high impact initiatives and driving operational excellence across diverse organizational contexts. Katerina's leadership style is rooted in fostering talent, building resilient teams, and delivering measurable outcomes through innovative project management and risk mitigation strategies.
Prior to joining Corus, Katerina worked at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Washington, DC. for 18+ years. As Deputy Vice President for Sector Operations, Katerina provided strategic oversight for a $4 billion portfolio. She provided technical leadership in agriculture, land and property rights, gender and social inclusion, human and community development (education, workforce development, behavior change, and health sector strengthening), program financial services, and program procurement. She introduced innovative approaches for results-based finance, partnerships, and procurement processes.
As the Resident Country Director in Accra, Ghana, Katerina oversaw implementation of a $547 million compact focused on agriculture and transport. In this role, she collaborated closely with Ghanaian counterparts to address implementation challenges, ensured the completion of over 850 contracts across thirty districts, and cultivated partnerships with private sector investors.
Before joining MCC, Katerina worked in the international affairs division at the U.S. Treasury Department heading up the Office of African Nations, serving in the Office of Multilateral Development Banks, and working in the Office of Technical Assistance. During her treasury tenure, she was seconded to the African Development Bank and the World Bank, engaging in negotiations on concessional finance replenishments, debt relief, and various policy initiatives.
