Jim Olson

Jim Olson is Chief Communications and Collaboration Officer at Corus International, where he leads the organization’s global communications, brand and external engagement strategy. He brings more than three decades of experience in corporate communications, strategic storytelling and reputation management.

Before joining Corus in 2026, Jim held senior communications and brand leadership roles at United Airlines, Starbucks, US Airways and Avelo Airlines. He also served as Executive in Residence and Chief Communications Officer at African Leadership University, supporting the institution’s growth across Africa.

Throughout his career, Jim has advised global organizations including Microsoft, Boeing, Nissan and DHL. He is also an author, educator and speaker on strategic communications, leadership and organizational reputation.

Jim holds an MBA from University of Southern California and a B.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University. He serves as a trustee of Albertus Magnus College and has worked in more than 60 countries across six continents.
